We all know how important details are at weddings. From table settings to bouquets, every detail matters! We absolutely love when brides use feathers on their wedding day! Feathers are a great way to add detail, color, and textures to many elements in a wedding. Here are 3 ways you can use feathers on your special day to bring out the uniqueness of your wedding.

1. Feather Out Your Dress!

A wedding dress is one of most important details of a wedding. Women spend countless hours to find that unique dress that fits their personal style. This year it’s been very fashionable to add feathers to a dress. Feathers most popularly used are Ostrich fringe and feather boas.  Both add a unique look and texture to a dress making it elegant and fun!

2.Table Settings

Most likely the majority of a wedding will take place at the reception. Brides spend a great amount of time choosing place settings and centerpieces for their guest. Feathers are a great way to add that elegant, shabby chic, or vintage look to your reception. Ostrich Plumes are often used in centerpieces to add a classy, elegant look. You can also use other feathers such as Guinea feathers or Peacock feathers to keep things colorful. Peacock feathers make for great centerpieces as well!

3. Bouquets and Flowers

There is nothing more beautiful than a bride holding a bouquet on her wedding day! Even more beautiful is a bouquet with feathers and flowers! Feathers are a great way to incorporate your wedding colors in a bouquet or boutonniere. Using smaller feathers such as cut Peacock eyes or guinea feathers are a great way to add highlights to arrangements. Peacock Feathers and Guinea feather come in many colors, which make them great for finding that perfect combination of flowers and feathers.
