Plastic Egg in a Vase
Plastic eggs are inexpensive and reusable, although for many parents storing the eggs each year is a burden that is easily avoidable by simply throwing them out or offering empty eggs to accept party guests each year. By creating a decorative use for eggs, we can recycle them. Most people have one or various clear glass vases in varying sizes from previous flower deliveries or arrangements. We can put those vases on display a few weeks before Easter each year and remove from storage last years plastic eggs. Arrange eggs in vases on top of some sand and add some branches with turkey feathers to create colorful tabletop decorations. Place one or many on tables to create lunch centerpieces or welcoming decorations very inexpensivelyor free, if you like to recycle.

Yellow feathers in a Vase
Baby chicks are usually associated with Easter. As an inexpensive Easter display buy yellow craft feathers to fill clear glass vases with. Purchase feathers wholesale to create multiple displays for a large gathering or multiple feathered arrangements. You could also offer a prize to the guest at an Easter party that guesses closest to the number of feathers in your vase. Not only is this a decoration, but a guessing game opportunity.

Feathered Easter Baskets
Easter baskets are often reused each year, but only for about an hour then they are put back into the garage to collect dust and spider webs until Easter arrives again. Get a few weeks out of your childrens Easter basket next year by taking it out a couple of weeks before the holiday and placing it on display near a fireplace or as a tabletop decoration. Baskets could be practical decorations if you use them to hold magazines or fruit.

Easter Egg Wreath
It seems that every year we are left with mismatched Easter eggs. Some halves have broken partnering pieces and others get lost. Instead of throwing away those mismatched eggs create a beautiful and inexpensive wreath. Glue plastic egg halves to a Styrofoam or wooden wreath. These simple displays can placed on doors and be welcoming to guests. Get creative and stretch more use out of items you will purchase anyway by recycling and finding uses for items used only once a year.
