Whether you are planning to make a pair for an upcoming Halloween costume or baby photography prop, or you want to make a decoration to hang above the headboard of a bed or fireplace mantle, angel wings are simple to make and require little time and materials.

Materials:

White Cardboard (paint it if necessary)

White Turkey Rounds (10-12”)

Scissors

White Turkey Flats (2-4”)

Ink pen

White Lace Trim (approx. 40”)

Hot glue gun & glue

Instructions:

Begin by making an angel wing outline with an ink pen on the white foam board. It can be as large or small as you want to make it.

Once the outline is the shape and size that you want it, cut it out with scissors.

Begin gluing the White turkey rounds to the cardboard starting from the center down.  Layer until none of the board is visible on both wing tips (front and back of the wing).

Next find the center of the white lace trim and glue it approximately 2 inches from the top of the wing center.

Begin gluing the white turkey flat feathers to complete the tops of both the wings (front/back).

When the wings are as “full” as you want them you are finished.

Use the white lace trim to tie around the arms and back of a child to wear as part of their costume or use it to hang the wings on the wall or back of a chair for decoration.
