DIY + feathers = The perfect match!

Feathers are likely the most easy, versitile tool for Do-It-Yourself fashion, acessory, and crafting; they are statement-making and eye catching and add jazz to almost any project possible. Feathers can beautify any DIY or even be the entire focus of the project. By gluing or sewing on feathers to plain, simple acessories you can instantly create an entirely new look. For example, by hot-gluing a peacock tail eye to a bobby pin or hair clip, you can instantly make yourself a gorgeous, exotic, new hair piece! Most projects are really that simple!

A blog site that I simply adore is Wunderlust by karinkirsten. Wunderlust’s blog is whimsically, romantically themed and has so many features to it including a Do It Yourself section for high fashion, irrestiable crafts with step by step instructions! We’ve featured some of her creations before on our very own facebook.

Lulu Letty by Maria is another blog site quite hip and fashionable. I absolutely loved their Feather Headpiece DIY and am actually currently in the process of making my very own, eep!
