Feather Boutonniere Tutorial!

Simple Step on D.I.Y Feather Boutonniere

Our Feather Boutonniere Tutorial is finally here!

Feathers are possibly the most exciting material you can use for your wedding. Brides-to-be call us every day and tell us about their amazing wedding ideas. From their wedding centerpiece, bouquet, headpiece, decor to the only fancy thing the groom has... the feather boutonniere!

We recommend you to mix some soft and stiff feathers together so you when you layer them it is not too stiff or too floppy.

You will need :
Soft feathers - Turkey plumage and guinea plumage
Twigs
Twine
Button

Step 1
Strip the lower part of guinea wing feathers and goose feathers

Step 2
Layer the feathers from big to small just like in the picture. Put the twigs in front of the feathers or they will just disappear behind all the fluff!

Step 3
After you are happy with the arrangement, glue the feathers together with a hot glue gun.

Step 4
Cover the ugly quills with ribbon or twine. Whichever one you prefer!

Step 5
Finish the beautiful boutonniere you just made with a button or rhinestone!

It is as simple as that! It only took me 10 minutes to make one boutonniere :) Hope you enjoy it and share this with your friends!
