Holiday Feather Centerpiece 1
Now that you've watch the first two feather centerpieces, you should have a good idea of how this one is made. When you assemble this, don't forget to put in the plastic. This critical step will keep your pumpkin from getting all squishy before its time. Here's a list of the feathers we used for quick reference.
Ombre Fiery Red Ringneck Pheasant Tails
Natural Barred Wild Turkey Wing Quills
After the holidays, the feathers can be saved. Dry out your feathers on the counter for at least 24 hours until any water that was absorbed inside the quills is gone. After that the feathers can be stored in a bag or box with mothballs for about as long as you want. Just remember that moisture will destroy the feathers and moths love to eat them so stay away from both.
Hope you had fun making the feather centerpiece.
