How to:
First, cut out your piece of felt to your desired size. Remember the size of felt will determine how big the fascinator will be.
Organize feathers by length and spread the individual feather’s spines out gently
Begin hot gluing the longest feathers around the edge of the felt until the entire perimeter is covered.
Continue gluing shorter feathers in the same way until you reach the center.
Once you’ve reached your desired density, add in the extension feathers around the outer edges.
Let the glue dry and then glue your creation to a hair clip. This will allow you to attach it to a hat, scarf, or headband.
Once the clip is secured you are ready for the derby!
