Lighting

Lovely- Lights set the mood for any atmosphere.  To create a romantic garden or beach wedding hanging paper lanterns can be both festive and add romantic lighting and color to any room.  This will not only be a touch of interest overhead, but it can also shorten the “ceiling” in a large or outdoor venue.  Place glass lanterns with pillar candles on table tops for intimate lighting.

Lavish- Grand chandeliers and dance floor lighting will be a necessity for any grand occasion.  Large venues need large decorations to create a proper scale.  Hang crystals and reflective surfaces near lighting to magnify their effects even more. Candles and rhinestone crystals hanging off the centerpiece to create more bling! 

Feathers

Lovely- Feathers are one of the most popular wedding decorations.  They can be used as centerpieces in all weddings, from vintage to modern.  Even on a budget, little amount of ostrich feathers can create a big impact.  Due to their appearance, two of these large fluffy feathers in a slender vase can add volume to reception tables.  Wrap the vases in ribbon or burlap and twine to match wedding décor.

Lavish- Huge cylindrical vases brimming full with ostrich feathers will make for grandiose centerpieces.  For any large venue where whimsy and over-the-top style is requested ostrich feathers are the perfect feather for the occasion. Add some peacock feathers to add colors to your reception. 

Flowers               

Lovely- Flowers are a request of every bride.  Although, they are beautiful and have a sweet fragrance, flowers can make a sizable dent in a wedding budget.  To save on costs while still incorporating flowers, purchase many different sized vases.  Small necked clear containers along with other vases of various lengths, and widths will create a very home-like appearance on your guests’ tables.  Place single stems of dahlias, or gerbera daisies in the smallest bottles and small bunches of tulips and sunflowers in larger vessels.

Lavish- Overwhelm your reception tables with overflowing vases of roses or hydrangea and floral arrangements to make statement centerpieces.  These will be costly, but make a memorable impact at your venue. Add the same type of feathers to your bouquet to have a cohesive theme on your wedding day.
