More Thanksgiving Centerpieces!

Another easy DIY blog? Always! And this one is perfect for Thanksgiving!

The tables are always full on Thanksgiving, so where is the room for a bulky centerpiece? There isn't any! That's why we've made this adorable and small candleholder!

I'm going to show you in a few easy steps how to create this!

What we'll need:
  • Serving Tray
  • Small vase of candleholder
  • 1 Large Candle
  • 2 sets Feathers. We chose Pheasant and Guinea!

One
We're going to start with the same piece we used last week. We love it! Start with any serving tray you want!

Two
Take a simple candleholder or vase. We picked this because the color looked brilliant with the feathers we've chosen! Set in anywhere on the tray.

Three
Any candle will do as long as it's a full size! It needs to nearly fill the vase. Having a curved lip on your vase is likely your best bet. Ours was about an inch over the top of the vase, which was perfect for this craft.

Four
Now for the fun part, sticking the feathers in! Remember when I said this was easy? It is! Simply wedge the feathers between the candle and the vase! We chose Pheasant Feathers to compliment the colors of the tray.

Five
Add some accent feathers like this on the side... We loved the spotted Guinea feathers!

Finished Product
And there you have it! Just a few easy steps, and shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to complete!

Disclaimer: Do not leave this candle alone when lit. It's meant to be decorative and no one wants to see feathers catch fire. (Unless you're a Hunger Games Fan)
