New Year’s Eve Party Décor
The occasion for New Year’s Eve parties is definitely an opportunity to relish. Enjoy your health, job or if not much went as well as you had hoped this past year you may look forward to the confidence of what a new year may bring. Many New Year’s Eve customs are reason enough to attend a past midnight party: dancing, the countdown, confetti, and a midnight kiss, perhaps, are all more exciting in the company of friends and family. Confetti- Once the clock strikes midnight confetti is in order. If you annually watch the midnight countdown from New York City, they drop seemingly endless amounts of confetti. You may not want remnants of paper scraps and confetti all over your floor so you could sprinkle metallic confetti on tabletops.
Noise Makers- Poppers, pots and pans, whistles and wazoos are great for this festive occasion. Once the clock strikes midnight, break out into loud chaos by hammering a pan with a wooden spoon, pulling the string on confetti poppers or blowing loudly on your whistle. Not only does the noise add to the fun, whistles and wazoos can be imprinted with the New Year and be taken home by guests as party favors.
Disco Ball- No midnight party is complete without a disco ball. For decades this mirrored ball has been a centerpiece on dance floors and living rooms during New Year’s Eve events. Hang one at the ceiling line in the center of a room and shine lights on the ball for ultimate reflective results.
Photo Booth- Rent a photo booth or create a decorative photo corner to take guest pictures. No occasion is more suited for the fun and wild behavior that comes with New Year’s Eve. Guests are relaxed and in the mood to cut loose, so have fun glasses, hats and wacky wear on hand for the guests to accessorize with.
Feather Masks- Some parties require guests to dress up in mascaraed attire. Store bought masks can be very expensive. Purchase feathers wholesale to create a stunning mask for you and your date. Decorate your mask with paint, rhinestones, and craft feathers like turkey feathers to add flare above the eyes.

Champagne/Sparkling Cider- As a toasting refreshment have chilled champagne and sparkling apple cider for guests who prefer or are not yet of age to drink alcoholic beverages. Clear plastic flutes can be purchased at discount or wholesale stores to assemble for the toast. They can conveniently be thrown away and you won’t have the head ache of broken glass at your celebration.
