I can think of no cooler party theme for a teen birthday girl than spa. Most teen girl parties consist of similar items: music, dancing, and talking about boys. Give your daughter and her friends a time to remember, a time to relax, and a chance to relish in their femininity.
If you are or have a friend that is an esthetician then you will have a head start on the game. If not, you could do some internet research on beauty tips. You can set up different stations in your living room or kitchen area to treat the teens to a memorable night.
Various Station Ideas-
Manicure- A simple and very popular station would be manicures. By setting up a few folding tables and chairs and getting an assortment of nail files, buffers and lotion you could give each girl a relaxing hand massage and manicure. Give them the option of polish color just like a real nail salon. Add feathers to your nails to make them extra special!

Pedicure- If you dont own or dont want to invest in a foot spa then you could easily set up warm tubs of water with salt mixed in. Have the girls soak their feet before you begin scrubbing, clipping and shaping their nails. Before they choose their paint color, give them a foot and calf massage.
Hair- You, of course, wont be cutting anyones hair at this birthday event. But you could have a hair feather station to freshen up the girls manes. Purchase hair feather extensions wholesale to keep costs low. The feather extensions can be taken home and double as party favors.
Facial- Even if you are not an esthetician, you can easily set up a facial bar on your kitchen counter. Have various packets of face masks, cleaners, and lotions set out for girls to choose from and apply themselves. If you find recipes for oatmeal or natural ingredient masks online you can whip up a non-irritating concoction for use as well.
Some great Items to have on hand to complete the spa-like atmosphere:
Cucumbers- Thinly sliced, cooled cucumbers will make the teens feel especially pampered. Place these on their eyes during the manicure or facial for a relaxing effect.
Towels- You will need many clean towels on hand for a spa night. Facials and pedicures will require washing and drying so be prepared with wash cloths and hand towels.
Nail Spacers- Once the pedicures are over you will want to reduce the likelihood of smudged paint. Purchase foam nail spacers at dollar stores for girls to use.
Cotton Balls- These will come in handy for applying facial solutions without spreading germs and bacteria.
Nail Polish Remover- Some girls will likely already have polish on their nails when they arrive. Have remover and cotton balls available to take off the paint for a fresh application before manicures and pedicures.
Magazines- No spa is complete without some gossip and fashion magazines. These are perfect items for down time or while enjoying a pedicure.
Spa Snacks- Pretzels, fresh fruit, bottled water and sparkling apple cider will offer healthy treats while the girls are relaxing.
