A Stylish Celebration Ideas
St. Patricks Day is right around the corner and it is time
for some Irish fun. We have some
wonderful ways to celebrate with family and friends to make this one day
occasion something you can look forward too.

Wear Costumes- So
we've all become aware over the years, that on this one day a year green is the
color of choice. In fact, for the truly enthusiastic, a pinch is in store for
those who forget this time honored tradition.
For a mellow observance of this rule you could just wear a speck of
green or your favorite green shaded shirt or dress. For a fun splash of emerald wear turkey feather boa, a
shamrock head band with green ostrich
feather accents or wear shamrock shaped earrings for a touch of
shimmering green style.
Traditional Dinner-
Corned Beef and cabbage is a traditional Irish dinner that many like to consume
on this special day. If you are hosting
a St. Patricks Day party you could offer these items along with some green
colored dishes. You may color lemonade
and bread green with food coloring, offer guests salads, grapes, kiwi, and
honeydew as well as create festive green colored desserts accompanied with a
little Irish coffee.
Movie Night- For
a relaxed at home opportunity for some Irish fun you could rent an Irish film
or at least one thats setting is Ireland.
Some popcorn and beverages are the perfect pairing to sit back, relax
and enjoy a movie. Some possible films
to choose from are Circle of Friends,
The Secret of Roan Inish, My Left Foot, and Michael Collins.
Night Out- For
the adventurous at heart a night out on the town may be in store. You may choose to go to a bar or night club
for some Irish brew or to sip your favorite cocktail. Be sure to dress in style but to also wear
some green to keep the merriment going. A sequined green dress, emerald polish,
or duck feathers earrings
will keep you fashionably in tradition.
