DIFFERENT TYPES OF FEATHERS
There are thousands of types of feathers and here we are introducing just a small portion of feathers that are some commonly found at craft stores and some exotic ones you can find here on our website.
Duck, Goose and Turkey Feathers - Most common craft feathers you'll find in your kid's school project. They come in all the colors you can imagine. Guinea Feathers are not as common but they are very sought after because of their one-of-a-kind polka dot pattern.
Centerpiece Feathers - Ostrich feathers are the most popular feathers because of the size and fluffy plumes. Ostrich plumes and drabs are the more popular choice compared with tails and spads. Peacock and pheasant feathers are becoming more popular. These two species are great for centerpieces with a more rustic theme.
Rooster feathers - Again, very popular because of their unique nature. They come in different patterns ; chinchilla, badger, half bronze, laced, speckled. You can find them in red, black, white, beige, brown and dyed in a rainbow colors.
Exotic Feathers - Wild Turkey, Macaw and Jungle Cock feathers are seasonal. These feathers are popular for tying flies. Artist also like these feathers in making their craft due to their rarity and unique patterns and colors.
