Returns Policy
Defective Products and Fulfillment Errors
We accept returns of defective products due to manufacturing or workmanship defects within 30 days from the date of purchase. If we ship an incorrect product due to our error, returns are also accepted within the same period. Please notify us promptly if there are any issues with your order.
Refund Process
Expect to receive your refund within four weeks after sending your package to the return shipper. However, refunds are often processed more quickly. This time frame includes:
- Transit time: 5 to 10 business days for the return to reach us.
- Processing time: 3 to 5 business days once we receive the return.
- Bank processing time: 5 to 10 business days to process the refund request.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and we do not provide return labels. We do not accept returns on opened or used items.
Restocking Fees
- Returns for reasons other than defects will incur a 10% restocking fee.
- Bulk feather returns, including ostrich feathers in bulk, will incur a 50% return fee.
- The quality and quantity of returned goods will be assessed at the sole discretion of Moonlight Feather, Inc.
Non-Refundable Items
Shipping costs are non-refundable. We do not accept returns on custom dyed feathers or custom orders.
Order Cancellations
Order cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Return Instructions
If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product. We will provide instructions for returning items from your order.
If you receive the wrong item, please call us immediately.
If your package arrives damaged and you purchased the package insurance by Route at checkout, then you may contact Route directly to file a lost package claim and the agent can assist you in replacing your order. If you did not purchase Route coverage, then damage or loss insurance may be available through the carrier as it is included with some shipping methods.
Moonlight Feather, Inc. does not offer replacements for damaged or missing packages.
