This hackle feathers are dyed over white feather so the dye turn out to be bright and vivid. The stripping on the feathers is a unique look that comes from stripping approx. 3/4 of the lower part of the feather leaving the beautiful tips. The tips of the hackle are much smaller and delicate looking than the coque tail feather.
This stripped rooster hackle feathers is made from the cape on the rooster’s neck feather that have been stripped and sewn onto a polyester-blend bias tape. You can easily pull these stripped rooster hackle feathers off the trim and incorporate the feathers into your design.
